Way too few pins. The resolution/zoom level is inadequate for medieval streets, which either dont appear or have no names on here. Thats where youre most likely to get lost, of course.

Basically, Ive had this thing on for 2 weeks in Paris and it has been great for finding my way around and finding the closest metro stop. You cant increase the font size on the street names which is sometimes hard to make out for my aging eyes. I liked it so much I bought the ones for Glasgow and Stockholm. My only mistake was not installing it before I left so I could find my way from the metro to my hotel with the suitcases. Basically for $1, if your going to Paris even for 1 day, just buy it and delete it later.

The maps are a little small, but this is the only program Ive found that can tell me where I am without an Internet connection. It is better than the apps that cost several times more. Thanks!

This app has the potential to be great but fails. The maps are so small that one can hardly read it. The enlarge Feature is a joke. It does work well without roaming charges. But didnt help very much when we got lost. Asking someone for directions or a paper map is more efficient.

Nice map but search doesnt wok on my iPad2. The keyboard disappears as soon as you touch it so there is no way to input a search phrase.

Basic map that is quite useful for offline reference in Paris. I have an iPhone 4S with retinal display and the resolution detail of the app itself could be much better than it is. The Guide Function is almost useless because the information is, inexplicably, not in alphabetical order. But, overall, if youre going to be in Paris with an iPhone and dont want to pay massive roaming charges for a live map, then getting this app is a no-brainer.

Low resolution, fuzzy maps that will not zoom in far enough for small streets. On top of that it would freeze up when the map is scrolled around. Skip this app unless major improvements are made!

Great concept but in true application not very helpful - could not find the Notre Dame cathedral, unable to input addresses or get distances, or turn by turn directions, difficult to read street names, did help find a metro station once or twice or determine direction, but thats about it - lots of room for improvement.

This app in general is good but isnt it time they fixed some of the bugs. My main complaints are the poor search function. For some reason at times you cannot type anything into the search field and then when you can the results are not displayed alphabetically. Additionally the bus and metro icons are much too similar to visually distinguish easily.

Maps too small, cant zoom in!

Nice complement to Google Maps when you dont have a data connection or data plan.

Fulfills the purpose

Only 99 cents for this app and it did exactly as advertised! I successfully walked (and drove ) around Paris and I knew exactly where I was at all times and exactly where I had to go next. It was especially helpful when trying to locate a metro stop. I could walk to the precise location of the nearest stop and was able to easily navigate Paris without wasting time, getting lost or spending a fortune on roaming charges. If you are going to Paris, Barcelona or London - buy this app!

Geez- I havent gotten to Paris yet but I did a search for Sainte Chapelle and nothing! This will not be useful.

No more maps. This time saver is a must if you are visiting Paris. It also encourages walking (and seeing more) over the Metro when you are not quite sure how far it is to your next destination. If you dont get this app, you love wasting time.

I use this everyday to get around Paris. the only reason you couldnt find sainte chapelle is because its under sainte-chapelle

A lot of foo foo features but the developer could not bother to put a bus map in there. If you know exactly where you are and exactly where you want to go (then why would you need the app?) they will show you exactly where the spot is on the map. But no bus line number, no bus route, that would be just too easy! Save your money.

Spent a week in Paris and used this app constantly. It was great that it had GPS and I did not have to use international data roaming. It helped me to easily locate many locations, which I would have spent much time attempting to locate.

The detail level is very bad. Do not get this app for offline.

The map is ok but it does not have descriptions, does not let you route your poi and the GPS did not work for me, the map only showed my position after I was on the Internet
